British police storming the Ecuadorian embassy?

It looks like the Britisch police is just storming the Ecuadorian embassy. (Assange is there at the moment in case you do not remember)

On the stream you could see quite a few policemen around the entrance of the building. There were NO special forces or heavily armed policemen to be seen. The stream is down in the moment, but it did not look like a try to forcibly extract Assange from the building. I hope it will stay this way.

There are a few mentions of the police entering the building through a side door. (03:10)

update: on the stream we could see 2 police vans parking in front of the side entrance of the embacy, a few policemen entering the ambassy and then one van leaving. (about 3:50)

Just a stupid(?) idea, maybe Assange is not getting asylum and we just do not know jet and they are giving him to the British police?

Update: Piraten werden in Japan wohl nicht so bald kommen, die haben gerade erst die dortigen Grünen gegründet.

Zahl des Tages: 478

Mit 478 zu 39 wurde ACTA gekippt.

War ein langer Kampf. Zuerst die Gerüchte, dass da irgendwas in Vorbereitung ist, aber die Texte geheimgehalten werden vor ein paar Jahren und dann immer mal wieder kleinere und grössere Leaks, ab Schluss grosse europaweite Demonstrationen und immer mehr Ausschüsse, die sich dagegen ausgesprochen haben.

Und heute endlich die Abstimmung.

Piraten in Griechenland

Die Piraten haben auch an den Wahlen in Griechenland teilgenommen.
Sie haben leider nur 14.169 Stimmen bekommen, was aber für eine Partei, die gerade mal 4 Monate alt ist kein schlechtes Ergebnis ist.

Wie viel dies in Prozent ist, kann ich im Moment leider nicht sagen, es dürfte aber “leicht” unter dem Notwendigen für den Einzug ins Parlament liegen.
